How can using SCC, Inc. save money?
Most seniors or their families find themselves confused about where to look for services, may not discover all available options, and are ill-equipped to understand how various services can fit together to meet identified needs. The research and learning curve can take many hours at best, and they often consume up to several days or weeks. Travel and/or time spent away from a job can be costly.
SCC care managers are well-versed in all services relevant to the needs of older adults. Our expertise can save seniors and their families a great deal of time and frustration.
What makes SCC’s Geriatric Care Managers so different from other
senior service providers?
While many senior service providers in East Tennessee can meet specific senior needs, only a Geriatric Care Manager is equipped to coordinate all of those service providers to meet all of your senior loved one’s needs. The array of available services can be overwhelming for someone without professional experience in Geriatric Care Management. SCC Care Managers are familiar with the services available and specialize in arranging customized care plans for older adults. SCC, Inc. is the only source of Geriatric Care Management services in East Tennessee.
How are SCC’s fees covered?
Clients are responsible for SCC fees, but their out-of-pocket expenses may be supplemented by insurance benefits. Long-term care insurance policies that include Care Coordination may cover SCC services.
SCC is a private company which employs only the highest skilled professionals. SCC does not receive funding from any source other than our clients. Therefore, client satisfaction always comes first.
How is service time billed?
Care Managers are skilled professionals whose time is billed hourly. All services provided are billable. Travel time is included in home visits, errands, etc.
Detailed statements are issued monthly.
Does SCC provide a reference list to potential clients?
Yes. References from professionals as well as current and former clients are available upon request.
How easy will it be to communicate with an SCC care manager?
An SCC Care Manager is as close as a phone call. Phones are monitored 24/7. Additionally, our email is monitored closely during normal working hours.
